Marc develops strategic, mission-driven communications that enhance Lever for Change’s ability to influence global impact. Working closely with staff, he designs and implements integrated marketing and communications plans that elevate our brand and help accelerate transformative social change. Marc also provides high-level counsel to donor teams, co-creating strategies that amplify philanthropic investments in bold solutions to some of the world’s biggest problems.
Previously, Marc ran his own communications consulting firm, On Message Communications, after heading the communications and marketing efforts of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and managing the daily operations of the Hilton Humanitarian Prize. Prior to the Hilton Foundation, he worked in communications, education and events management in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
He completed his undergraduate degree in Contemporary European Studies at Southampton University in the U.K. and received a Master of European Studies degree at the University of Leuven in Belgium. More recently, he was awarded a Master of Communication Management degree from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
Marc is a member of the Communications Network, a professional network of foundation and nonprofit leaders devoted to strategic communications for good. He is a member of the Board of Directors at the NEA Foundation, an independent national philanthropic organization founded by educators to promote the best in public education. Formerly, he served on the board of Invisible People, a non-profit organization educating the public about homelessness through storytelling, educational resources and advocacy.
